Buzz Blodgett has been blowing glass since 1969. He is from a family of artists. In 1978 he learned new techniques from a Swedish glassblower and currently uses them in many of his glass creations. He says “I was always impressed with the frozen liquidity of glass, which seemed to mesh with my love for the ocean and surfing.” All his glass is handmade using the same methods utilized since ancient times and it is signed and dated.
Leonie Lacouette manages to strike a balance between concepts and influences that otherwise might seem like polar opposites-her elegant clocks successfully reconcile the strict geometries of Minimalism with a warm, approachable palette of colored patinas on the copper and nickel that predominate her designs. Created from a basic language of circles, squares, ovals, and rectangles, the clocks are not only beautiful, but often playful as well.
Prairie Dance sculptures are made of sturdy, heavy gauge steel and meant to be enjoyed for many, many years. All pieces can be used indoors or outdoors. There’s no need to remove pieces from your landscape to accommodate seasonal changes–in fact, if you are fortunate enough to enjoy winter, our designs look great against a fresh snow! Treated using a simple ecological process that produces unique rusting patterns, each piece has different characteristics and rusts in it’s own unique way.

E. Drumm Designs
The daughter of artists, Elisa Drumm Van Auken turned in her sewing machines and custom clothing business for table saws and sanders and began playing around with painting on wood and founded E. Drumm Designs.
She wholesales her home decor collection of hand painted items, which includes mirrors, clocks, furniture and pieces of art, to over 100 galleries across the country.
After a year and a half of settling in to my new home, it’s become very clear to me that I miss my shop, the creativity of my vendors, and the wonderful friendships we had developed over the 18 years that I owned The Spirited Hand!
There are so many artists out there creating works that simply must be seen and cannot be mass produced! My goal is to create a shop that people turn to when they are looking for something special, for themselves or others, and a place that both welcomes and delights!
I will continue to favor North American hand-crafted – jewelry, glass, pottery, textiles, as well as cards, candles, wooden products, and even some specialty furniture.
